The ambitious friends come together during the holidays after a mystery assailant targets one of their own. A comedic thrill-ride follows, as the wild and unpredictable Psych team pursues the bad guys, justice … and, of course, food!
It was such a pleasure to hear the Psych signature melody again and see the superb cast, including James Roday, Dule Hill, Maggie Lawson, Kristen Nelson, Corbin Bernsen, and Kurt Fuller. The just a single missing was Carlton “Lassie” Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) who really appeared when Maggie reached him by telephone.
At the point when the film starts, it is three years after the fact, and the entire gathering is currently working in San Francisco. Shawn (Roday) keeps on hunting down the wedding band he needed to give Juliet (Lawson), Gus (Hill) has a delightful stalker, and somebody is out to get Maggie.
There are the typical jokes, the singing in amicability, and some recognizable scalawags, including a silly piece toward the finish of the film. There’s a scene in a shut crazy refuge and one in Alcatraz. All not bad, but at the same time not enough to blow anyone’s mind.
I truly miss these folks. I think today we have to giggle more than we ever have, and the Psych amass has a place on the scene. Gratefully, I don’t think this is the last time we’ll see them.
